Campers attending Water, Weather, and Wildlife will answer those questions as they explore their environment through nature walks, cane pole fishing, observing the weather around them, and handson interaction with amazing wildlife! They will create crafts, play games, and learn about the world around them.

Campers will step into a different story each day, bringing it to life with hands on activities, games, and crafts. Explore what's in the garden with Peter Rabbit, discover what's at the top of the beanstalk with Jack, and much more during this fun-filled camp.

Have you ever wondered how butter is made, or how farmers water giant fields of crops? Explore how science and agriculture go hand-inhand! Campers will participate in demonstrations of the chemistry and technology that farmers use daily, plant their own crops, make their own butter, and learn about sustainability on the farm. Join us for experiments and crafts exploring how innovation impacts agriculture!

Hear Ye Hear Ye! Legends, Lords, and Ladies invites campers to jump back in history to experience the time of royal families, knights, and mythical legends! Through hands-on crafts and activities, campers will explore all walks of medieval life. Learn to weave fabric, test your bravery and strength to become a knight, discover what it was like to live like royalty, and more!

Wriggling worms, buzzing bees and beautiful butterflies! Campers will see bees working in our observation hive, observe and log insects in our pollinator garden, build bee hotels, get up-close and personal with a variety of insects, and even create their own (edible) soil! They will get to craft and play all while learning about the importance of insects and bugs in our day-to-day life.

CAMP WIREGRASS INFORMATION


Camp Wiregrass offers week-long day sessions tailored for ages for ages 5-9 years old. Camps provide fun, hands-on learning experiences focusing on agriculture, history, natural resources, and STEM.

 May 26-29: Water, Weather, and Wildlife, 5-6 yr old
